Earthquake

Tiny little ripples in the sand. That's how it all started. Like tears falling into a still pond. Then the earth begins to violently shake. Tearing itself apart like a massive and hungry pit bull with a steak tied to it's neck. Thunder roars from below instead of above.

The chain of screams begin. Wails of terror and of agony. A great cacophony of fear and pain. Towers toppling, bridges collapsing and lives ending. Then it all grows still. Some say that the silence afterwards is just as horrible as the event itself.

There's nothing beautiful about an earthquake.
